Assembly Republican Leader Jon Bramnick announced his candidacy for State Senate in Legislative District 21 following Senator Tom Kean Jr’s decision to not seek reelection.
“I am proud to announce that I am running to represent the residents of New Jersey’s 21st legislative district in the State Senate,” said Bramnick (R-Union). “It has been an honor to serve the residents in the State Assembly and I look forward to continuing that work in the State Senate. Tom Kean Jr. is a true statesman, strong advocate, thoughtful policymaker and friend. I wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.”

Bramnick is honored by the support from all three Republican county chairs that comprise the district: Laura Ali (Morris) Glenn Mortimer (Union), and Tim Howes (Somerset). He has also been endorsed by 21st district Republican municipal chairs: Heidi Cohen (Berkeley Heights), Scott Mitzner (Bernards Township), Patti Page (Chatham Borough), Andis Kalinins (Cranford), Janis Pulton-Vallone (Far Hills), Steven Blaufeder (Garwood), Jay Woloshen (Kenilworth) Carol Prasa (Long Hill Township) J.D.
