Bramnick: Doctors should not be micromanaged by executive orders

Assembly Republican Leader Jon Bramnick said that executive orders by Gov. Phil Murphy should not replace the opinions of doctors on how to provide quality health care to their patients.

“Executive orders by the Murphy administration are micromanaging the practice of medicine and dentistry, substituting the judgment of surgeons with rules written by Trenton lawyers,” said Bramnick (R-Union). “Surgeons and dentists are trained licensed professionals who need to make the decisions on how to keep people safe. Micromanaging doctors and dentists with executive orders drafted overnight by Statehouse lawyers is inconsistent with good medical practice.”
