Democrats pass bill that virtually makes marijuana legal for children, says Bramnick

If police smell marijuana in the car they are not allowed to investigate. If they find marijuana, they cannot notify the child’s parents.

Those are a number of the issues, Assembly Republican Jon Bramnick pointed out that is wrong with the bill passed by the state Legislature today.

“There are virtually no penalties for kids who decide that they want to use marijuana and alcohol,” said Bramnick. “Parents are left out of the equation, and that has nothing to do with social justice. Police and parents will not be able to do anything, and kids will know that. Democrats have lost their grasp on reality.”
