A plan put forward earlier this week by Assembly Republican Leader Jon Bramnick to extend Motor Vehicle Commission deadlines for drivers was affirmed today by Gov. Phil Murphy.
“I would like to thank Governor Murphy for extending the expiration date of driver’s licenses, vehicle registrations and car inspections,” said Bramnick. “This extension will provide New Jersey residents relief from long wait times at MVC facilities.”
Murphy announced the automatic two-month extension of all drivers licenses, vehicle registrations and car inspections due for renewal by May 31 at a press conference earlier today.
